Molchany Wins Support of Equality PA
Pittsburgh– Equality PA has endorsed Erin Molchany in the April 24th Democratic Primary in the 22nd Legislative District.
“We need people like Erin in Harrisburg who believe in fairness and equality for all Pennsylvanians” said Adrian Shanker, President of Equality Pennsylvania, “Erin Molchany is clearly the best choice for LGBT voters in South Pittsburgh.”
Molchany has repeatedly called out Governor Corbett and legislators in Harrisburg for wasting time on distractions instead of focusing on the important issues facing our communities.
“Fairness and equality are founding principles of our country,” Molchany said. ”These should be a given. Our focus needs to be on saving transportation and stopping cuts to education, not on distractions like writing legislation to attack women, the LGBT community, or any of our friends and neighbors.”
Erin Molchany is running for the full two-year term as a Democrat in the April 24th Primary in Pennsylvania’s 22nd State House District. Molchany is also endorsed by Ironworkers Local 3, Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania PAC, Progressive Pittsburgh PAC, Stonewall Democrats, Gertrude Stein Club of Greater Pittsburgh, and Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak.
