I recognize that there are tough decisions to make in the state budget. But I will not support devastating cuts to public services that will unduly burden our state’s residents. In the State House, I would work to preserve vital access for Pennsylvania residents to important programs.

Protect Services for Our Seniors

I want to make sure that Pennsylvania continues to provide essential services for the senior members of the community. The budget will not be balanced on the backs of our senior citizens.

Encourage Intergovernmental Cooperation

For the last 12 years, I have worked in the non-profit sector. I have seen how public, corporate and the non profit sector, when working together, improve the quality of life, delivery and access to social services. There is a real opportunity to grow these partnerships to get all of us through these tough economic times. This is when our communities truly come together, and I will work as I have for the last 12 years, to make sure we are using our limited resources to the fullest.
